Dragon NaturallySpeaking 8 Mobile - combining the accuracy and quality of ScanSoft's proven voice recognition software with Philips' digital voice recorder to offer mobile professionals the most advanced dictation-based productivity solution available

ScanSoft's Dragon NaturallySpeaking 8 Mobile offers users the flexibility of dictation in any location, combined with the speed and accuracy of the most advanced and easy to use version of ScanSoft's world-leading speech recognition technology. Mobile users simply dictate into the compact Philips digital recorder supplied with DNS 8 Mobile while they are on the move. At a later date, the dictation files can be transferred to a PC or laptop and transcribed by Dragon NaturallySpeaking 8 all in a matter of minutes.

• Smart Text and Graphics Shortcuts - Instantly create boilerplate templates with variable values defined. For example, say "stock option grant 60 1000" and a stock option grant template appears with the vesting beginning in 60 days and the number of shares at 1000. Say "stock option grant 30 5000" and the same template appears with the vesting beginning in 30 days and the number of shares at 5000.



• Easy Proofing - Users can say "Play that back" and the software will play back what has been said and highlight the corresponding text for easy proof-reading, enabling corrections to be made promptly and easily.

Philips Voice Tracer Digital Recorder

The Philips Voice Tracer 7630 digital recorder that is part of the Dragon NaturallySpeaking 8 Mobile package holds up to 17 hours of recorded speech in Long Play mode. Standard Play provides 11 hours of recording time, while 1.5 hours of recording time is available in High Quality Play mode. With its compact and lightweight design, the recorder easily slips into a pocket or handbag. A simple USB port enables easy transfer of voice data from recorder to PC or laptop. The recorder is voice activated, so can start recording automatically when speaking starts. Voice files can be organised into four folders each capable of holding 99 voice files, and numerous editing functions allow total flexibility in file management. A backlit LCD makes the display easy to read even in poor light, and the battery provides 12 hours of constant recording time.
